Like many mass distinctions that happened on Earth, it is a cycle of life and death. Nothing is really gone, they just redistributed into everything around us. It is a process of returning to zero.
During this project, I looked into the theme of death, from the research of Tibet's local people's traditional sky burial to the Gaia theory, I am really into the idea of humans and all the other creatures on the earth are within one co-existing system. The mass extinction of humans is one possibility that resulted from the recovery system of the earth, I created this work about the apocalypse with inspiration of dead cells.
